It's beautiful out here, and for a moment she can almost believe they're back in Paris, like she's gone back four years. Or maybe she can pretend that this is how their life would have turned out, coming back to Siren Cove together instead of apart, settling in here. She'll drive herself crazy if she thinks about it though, so she makes a conscious effort to stop.

More bad things have happened to people here, she doesn't know why she's surprised anymore. The offer is tempting, but she doesn't know Joel, and even with Coop's endorsement, she doesn't know if she's 100% comfortable with it.
